Household Heroes: Family and Friends Word Search :

An interactive word-search puzzle centred on “Family and Friends.” Each session generates a new  grid containing 12–15 themed words—such as “mother,” “father,” “brother,” “sister,” “uncle,” “aunt,” “cousin,” “grandmother,” “grandfather,” “niece,” “nephew,” and “friend.” Learners scan the jumble of letters to locate and highlight each term. 

Skills You Build:

  • Vocabulary enrichment: recognizing and spelling family and friend–related terms (e.g., “cousin,” “grandfather,” “niece”).

  • Observation and pattern recognition: scanning the grid efficiently to spot hidden words in all directions (horizontal, vertical, diagonal).

  • Spelling accuracy: reinforcing correct letter sequences for each family role and relationship term.
