Select All the Factors of the Target Number !

What is a Factor?

factor is a number that divides another number exactly, leaving no remainder. Factors come in pairs and help us understand multiplication and division better.

  • Example 1: Factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3, and 6
    • 1 × 6 = 6
    • 2 × 3 = 6
  • Example 2: Factors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12
    • 1 × 12 = 12
    • 2 × 6 = 12
    • 3 × 4 = 12
  • Example 3: Factors of 7 are just 1 and 7 — because it's a prime number!

Tip: If you can multiply two whole numbers to get the target, both numbers are factors!
